All over Europe! November 27, 2008 We bought our trunki in England and travelled with it on multiple flights all around Europe and to the United States and back multiple times. Everyone admired the Trunki particularly because my two-year old son had such a big smile on his face while riding it through the airport. My son (now 4) still loves his Trunki, and my daughter (now 2) was more excited about getting a Trunki for her 2 year old birthday than anything else.
Everyone looks in amazement as you speed through the airport with your kids in tow. Good way to increase your cool factor!
Trunki October 23, 2008 Absolutely love these Trunkis! Everyone who travels with toddlers should own them. Great, fast seller!
Fantastic Fun September 3, 2008 This child's suitcase has been one of my favourite things that I have purchased for my daughter. It holds quite a few items securely and provides hours of fun and entertainment both at home and when traveling. I was only able to find one carrier of this product online in Canada, and they are on back order. It's no wonder. This is a great product. A definite must have for travelers!!
Green-eyed monster at the airport August 1, 2008 Flight attendants, gate agents, other parents, and other kids all stared at the Trunki. People wanted to touch it, to know where we bought it, to know if there were larger versions available. Other kids wanted to ride it, other parents wanted their kids to be riding it instead of pulling some lame character-inspired poorly-designed mini-roller bag. Heck, I want a slightly larger one for myself so that I can use it for a laptop case.
This is the absolute, flat-out, most rocking kids' carry-on suitcase ever. Our three year-old alternated between riding the Trunki and pulling it by it's leash. The 757-300 series we flew on had an aisle that was just wide enough for him to ride it down the aisle. Our one-year old was able to ride it but not able to pull it along.
A couple things to note: it's small. The internal cloth pocket is big enough for crayons, but that's it. It doesn't lay flat when open, but can be opened on a coach seat. Don't be tempted to over-stuff it with books, because it'll be a challenge to close - just like any other suitcase with something heavy on one side.
Seriously, massively recommended. If you are a parent who travels you want one of these.
Airport Fun! July 31, 2008 I ordered this for our recent vacation to Hawaii with our 3 year old son. It held his change of clothes and had plenty of room for a few toys and books. It is useful to use ziplock bags to keep everything a little more organized. The best thing about this is keeping the kids entertained while in the airport. They feel like the big kid with their own luggage to pull and be responisible for AND they can ride on it when they are tired or just playing at the gate. I recommend keeping the strap short in your hand when pulling your child on the Trunki because it is a little difficult to "drive" while in a busy airport. This product kept my son from getting bored at the gate and prompted lots of "where did you get that - it's really cool" from other moms. It is NOT to be checked. It is a carry on item and does fit on the plane. My son loved it and still plays with it here at home. We won't fly again without it.
